How should a Promax 28 condensate pipe be connected to boiler ?The condensate pipe from the boiler is a black rubber tube which is PUSHED into 32mm WASTE PIPE and runs away into a soil pipe.Because the rubber condensate pipe is just pushed internally into the 32mm pipe and , there is no fitting to make a sealed joint. Is this safe? as I have just read that the condensate is part of the flue.

Rubber?

Usually they are plastic!

As there is a water trap in the boilerthen I would expect it to be safe but the boiler instructions should be consulted.

The air gap created enables it to over flow there if it gets blocked further along. Its the usual way its done!
