Dave (soggyweetabix) I've managed to remove the solenoid (round black thing with a white inner part) and the only numbers I can see are on the back of the part where the electrics plug in and these are 5441 and 001. May not help!!

I've found the solenoid now (mine is black by the way). I can't exchange the solenoid though, as I've only got the one that's there! Will try and figure out an old voltmeter I've just found...
