    can you not get a better pump, one that will be able to provide you with the amount of flow rate and pressure you require for both showers to work correctly, and get rid of the one that is currently there.

    im not sure if they are called primofit but there is a fitting that converts stel to copper, iv used it in quite a few places, and it works a treat. they cost about 10.50 , ill find out the name for you tomorrow as my cousin sells them in his plumbers merchants.

    i had a similar sort of problem the other day, and found that before flushing if u pulled the handle up a tiny bit it would work fine, but as you have already tried the c link i dont think that is gonna solve your problem, but you can try it.

    where abouts in the u.k are you situated, if you are in london there is supposed to be a place in brimsdown near enfield that sells those fittings, i came across it once before in canning town area of london, and it was a nightmare to locate a fitting for it, so in the end we reused the old one...
