    Gap between ceiling and wall after oveboarding...fill with??

    Hi Anyone know what to fill the small gap between the wall and ceiling after overboarding. Obviously all walls aren't true! The gap is probably no bigger than 5mm at its worst point and the ceiling will be skimmed, also most likely the walls too. Whatever is used, it'll be covered anyway...

    Fitting a back box before or after skim?

    Thanks for the replies. It's nothing to do with being illogical, it's not knowing whether fitting a back box prior to a skim would cause the faceplate to be sunk into the finished plaster, I don't know the thickness of a skim. Thanks again for the tips.
