I thought the 300mm level was to stop the potential of flue blockage from say, snow or leaves etc but the pit has drainage so I dont see the problem with that? I may be wrong but the regs dont really cover this scenario??

I assume that the POC could potentially be drawn back into the flue for combustion due to the area it would be situated in?

The flue termination would be approx 5ft off the ground level of the pit so no where near ground level

Thanks for the reply.........I've got to attach the feed and vent about a 12" away from the boiler so approximately 4-5 foot away from the pump, I assume this would have no long term negative effects on the system?

Hi, Just a quick question.......... In your experience is it okay to connect the feed and expansion pipe work anywhere between the boiler and circulating pump on the primary feed or is there a minimum distance away from the pump thats recommended? Cheers
