    End cap on live pipe

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll have to drain the system then. I've just put new plasterboard up, and probably best not to get it wet. Thanks again. Appreciate it

    End cap on live pipe

Hi, I'm fitting my new kitchen and found 2 old radiator valves behind the kitchen cabinets. The radiator has been removed, but the pipe is still live. One of the valves is in my way. I wondering if it's possible for me to take the valve off, and put an end cap on while the system is live...

    Best tile grout

Hi, I'm going to tile my kitchen floor with polished white marble tiles and was thinking of using a grey grout. (Originally thought black as my cupboards are black but keep reading bad reviews on it.) I'm not sure which brand to use between Bal and Mapei. Any recommendations would be...

    Carpet underlay - 9mm or 11mm

Hi, I'm buying some Cloud 9 underlay for my living room, but I'm not sure whether to get 9mm or 11mm. I read a previous post on this forum that 11mm is too, and can distort the carpet. Is this true? We have quite thick carpet that we are going to install . Thanks

    DPM under underlay?

I didn't want to pay for it as Carpetright were charging a fortune. The other rooms, they said they'll use the current grippers. They didn't mention anything about the thickness of the carpets.

    DPM under underlay?

My plan was to put down the gripper first then the underlay after. I thought the gripper only required a gap of about 8mm?

    DPM under underlay?

We didn't have any damp problems when we moved in. I won't bother with the DPM then. The doorbars are down, but the carpet grippers aren't. I need to do that this weekend. Shall I get some spray adhesive then for the sides of the underlay?

    DPM under underlay?

Hi, I'm having my living room carpeted by Carpetright in a few weeks. I am supplying the underlay which is Cloud 9 Cumulus 9mm or 11mm PU Carpet Underla, and will be installing it myself. As the floor is concrete, do I need to put DPM under the underlay first? Many Thanks

Stuart Turner Pump - Replace Couplings

Hi, After some advice please. I have a 2 bar Stuart Turner Showermate, and I want to know if I can replace the 15mm anti-vibration couplings with 22mm? I don't see why not, as I'm going to have to reduce the 22mm to 15mm anyway, but just wanted to make sure. I need right angled couplings...

Okay. What do you mean by Universal Pump? When I type that into Google, the same pump I've been looking at shows. (Salamander and Stuart Turner)

Need Advice on Installing Shower Pump for Low Water Pressure

Sorry, I have just attached a photo of the shower. And I'll probably go for a 1.5 bar then. There is only 2 of us and we won't be showering at the same time. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it
