hi. yes there is a jumper on the back which you are supposed to remove if using on a fully pumped system. nope, don't have either of those valves on the system.

I have a part gravity part pump system, does the CH pump have to be on for my HW tank to heat up? I have seen several explainations saying the tank being heated by convection. diagrams show a coil inside the tank which is part of the CH system. Does the CH pump therefore circulate hot water...

I have recently replaced my old single channel timer with a 2 channel timer. when the CH comes on at a seperate time to the HW, the timer only activates the CH Pump and doesn't fire up the boiler. Any ideas? If I turn up and down the room thermostat it just switches the CH pump on and off.

Note: I am working from the assumption that my system is the old Convection type, I can only see a pump on the radiator circuit, there doesnt appear to be a diversion valve (sorry not sure on its correct name) to make my system a fully pumped system.

thanks heatingman. the room thermostat is 4 core and using yellow for switch, red for livefeed, black for neutral and green for earth. So should be simple case of just replacing.
