Planning new Central Heating layout to include 3 Heating Zones controlled by 2 port valves. Can I have the 3 heating zone return lines as a common or do I need to keep them separate and Tee each circuit in before the DHW return and ABV return. Are single check valves an option. I am worried...

Thanks BAB for that, Would branching off the TEE cause any aeration problems for the pump and how far after branch would I need to TEE for normal hot water outlet. Haven't decided on pump yet but will certainly heed your advice, perhaps I need another cylinder as its in a pub with en-suite rooms.

Could I fit a slightly angled dip tube into this connection. No details on Heatrae site.

Thanks for that, fitting an essex flange to this type of cylinder looks daunting considering the outer skin makeup and its a stainless steel tank. There is a secondary return connection 1/2" BSP about 2/3rds the way up, Could that be used.

The blue brick 3 port valve feeds hot water from either the megalife gas heated cylinder or if solid fuel alight the twin coil cylinder. The red brick 2 port valve was a bit of an after thought to utilise the second coil in the solid fuel cylinder by wiring to a switch allowing a boost function...
