Correct Size Air Vent Cover - Millimetres too Big.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/manrose-cowl-vent-white-125mm/54366#_=p Bought this product, but the round collar does not fit inside the tube/flue. Sizewize, the collar is exactly the same as the flue so it's millimetres too big to connect. The flue has been in the wall about 15 years. It's a...

    Replacement Boiler

I have been down that route. The regular engineer I use had to go in and sort this because it wasn't covered by D&G Platinum. I actually feel like I need to get away from the regular engineer as well as D&G. I am not convinced he has been done things right. I feel like he has his own agenda.

Hot Water - Radiator Always Hot

Can anything be done about this? Conventional Boiler located downstairs in kitchen. When heating isn't needed, but hot water is, you can't turn off the bathroom radiator. I.e, the only way to get and store hot water is having to put up with a hot bathroom even in a heatwave. Is there a...

    Preparation for Painting

Hello My front door is painted a traditional period colour - I think it is British Racing Green (the door is an original Victorian over 120 years old). I want to change it to a nice traditional Navy Colour. Once fully rubbed down, filled etc - do I apply a grey undercoat before applying two...
