    Filler bubbling on internal walls

It’s new about a week ago and kept air tight. The walls were all given a mist coat then a normal strength undercoat. I feel it must be the type of paint that was originally on the wall that’s not letting it stick

    Filler bubbling on internal walls

Just to add. Today I removed the old filler in places and keyed the surface and re filled - this evening there are small blisters again on the surface which suggest it’s not going to stick

Zone valve / Hot rads issue

Having read a bit more Ive come across whats been described as 'Gravity Flow' which to stop this there is a check valve on the radiator loop - am I going off in the wrong direction with this line of thought. Zone valve / Hot rads issue

Thanks again Ian, recently was informed that the pump had been plumbed in on the return circuit rather than the flow, after posting pics here for another issue so would that be exasperating the issue ?

Zone valve / Hot rads issue

Ian, am i right in thinking that if the rads are heating up then the heating of the hot water in the cylinder is being compromised or does it continue to heat the water and the warming of the rads is an unwanted side effect - basically am I getting less hot water than I should ? Thanks

Zone valve / Hot rads issue

Hi, wondering if anyone can shed any light on the following; I have recently replaced both zone valves (Honeywell V4043H) models as complete units hoping to eradicate the issue of the heating circuit warming up when the HW circuit is the only one selected. However the issue still persists. It...

Constant air in Primary boiler circuit

Having had the hot water cylinder recently relocated to the loft the following is now occurring - There's a continuous gurgling and sloshing of water in the flow and return pipes and pump when the boiler fires for the HW circuit so clearly its sucking in through the expansion pipe i assume...

Hi Terry/anyone with a thought ... Wondering if I can call on your experience once again - There is now a pretty continuous gurgling and sloshing of water in the flow and return pipes and pump when the boiler fires for the HW circuit. Its definitely air. Ive connected a hose to the drain point...
