Can someone please tell me where I can get free loft insulation. I have no loft insulation at present. I have read that 90% of homes qualify but cannot find where. I am 76 years old but not on benefits. JamesEB

They say that the safety reasons are no facility to turn off the gas supply at the meter in an emergency and the meter is on someone else's property some 150 metres away from my house.

They didn't say exactly that. They said a possible reason is that they have different policies but wouldn't/ shouldn't the countrywide policy for moving the meter for safety reasons be the same. Is it? How do I find out? There has been a mass of confusion and everyone tells me something...
