If I were you, I,d rip it out and start again, its passed its sell by date. That Boiler is not suitable for external use. Get yourself a Grant External Combi Boiler and do away with that carp you've got.

If the MIs state sand and cement, then use sand /cement otherwise warrenty will become null and void

Because MIs mostly state a 1.5 degree fall back to Boiler, this is why I always carry a Theodolite around with me to be able to get this fall absolutely correct....... bit like skilled Buiders and Datums for drain runs. This is why us Plumbers are fairly expensive because of the expensive...

Get it looked over for any safety issues, then serviced. Then keep your money in your pocket. cos this will out last todays crapp :wink:
