Hi,

Has anyone got a manual for this boiler? I would like a copy if that is possible. Or to see how the baffle box is fitted. A drawing would be great.

I have read on this forum that brownbadger had a manual back in March 2013. If you read this please let me know if you still have it.
Many Thanks

It's just a box with a ceramic target plate that sits in combustion chamber.
It has a few spacers welded on to position it.

Thanks for your reply. Which way round should it fit? I am sure it was fitted the wrong way by the engineer as the ceramic block was facing away from the burner not toward it. Should the ceramic block face the burner?
Many Thanks

100% yes, ceramic facing burner. Tell the Engineer to go to spec savers :D

Sounds like your Client has had a £40 Service done by a MUPPET!!

Tip: don't make the mistake I made on one of these, NEVER glue the ceramic target block into place with heat resistant mastic!! a week later the boiler was blocked with a thick white residue, it also covered the custards lawn for a 6ft radius of the boiler too!! whoops!

Many thanks for the replies. I will tell my daughter not to use the muppet engineer again.
I would still like to have a copy of the manual for this boiler. So if someone has one and can photocopy it I would be happy to pay the cost and postage. Perhaps it could be Emailed to me?
I have to find a manual online without success.
Many Thanks
