I have a Camray 15/21 External boiler with a Riello 40 burner. It was installed in 1995. The nozzle is marked Delavan 60 60W. As part of servicing this year the nozzle was replaced with a new one (same markings). On firing up with the new nozzle the burner emitted smoke. When the old nozzle was put back the burner ran normally.
Is this just a case of a faulty nozzle or could it be something else?
