cut it out back to the studs and re board with plasterboard, check the thickness and get the apropiate board or double up ie 9.5 * 2 =19mm and then just skim taping the joint.

mix the adhesive up a bit thicker and put thicker dabs also put more dabs on the wall.

what is the relevence of calling a pizza gaf pinochios or aladins? theres loads of them, one shuts another opens and they call it pinochios :shock:. i can imagine the coversation "hey whata shall we call thisa place" "what about nemo's" "sounds great the english willa love it" :shock:

You may have been given the rate per m for skimming but did you take into account, removing furniture, sheeting up, pva (usually 2 coats),scraping wallpaper off (that was guaranteed not to be there when they arrived) filling in with bonding,removing sockets,removing switches, removing curtains...

you need to water some pva down and brush the back to control the suction this will stop the adhesive setting,also scratch the back to provide a key. cove adhesive is sound to use so is drywall adhesive but use a sponge to clean the exess.

would you say the same "IF" you lived there and you couldnt afford red paint?

so did the british and americans gain from the last war ie oil?

one bag would be stretching it and in my opinion not enough, grab an extra bag and do it proper. :wink:
