    BFT control panel

Well, I know how to add remotes to the Thalia P, and from the manual for the RTD it doesn't look like rocket science. I'm only deleting and adding transmitters. Nothing else

    BFT control panel

Right, I've got it figured out. There's actually two controllers. One is the Thalia P model and acts as the master, the other is RTD 2048 which acts as the slave. I need to programme against the slave which allows 2048 transmitters to be programmed.

    BFT control panel

Hi, We currently have a BFT control panel for the local residents that apparently is managing over 140 fobs. We want to delete all fobs and reassign them as part of an audit process. From reading the manual, it appears the function used on the control panel is erase64. What does the 64 refer...

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Yes, that's on my todo list first tomorrow morning now.

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. I take it that it the oulet in the PRV would normally be capped off if it wasn't being used as balanced supply?

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Can you put that in layman terms please?

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

I'd agree. Just been reading the OSO installation manual and nowhere does it specify any expansion vessel coming off the PRV as per my pic. What it does show is this, and that's not how my expansion vessel is set up

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

The expansion vessel wasn't there until I got someone in to clean the strainer. They put the vessel on at that point saying it was a building regs requirement. They were G3 registered.

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

No docs. This is more or less how it was when we moved in

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Yes its a OSO Cylinder 20 RD (330l capacity). Don't know about the internal air bubble

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

OK, here's a pic. The red vessel is in the background at the top of the pic. The pipe coming out of the PRV on the left and going to the red valve is the one that goes to the red vessel

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Its the expansion vessel in red. Plumber says that ideally it should be a white one and not a red one, as red is for central heating My worry is it was full of what looked like sludge. Plumber said its normal, but I have a doubt in the back of my mind

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Update: had the new PRV fitted and the hot water flow is massively improved. Cold seems to be as is But there's another tank connected to the PRV - looks like some sort overflow that has about 20 - 30 litre capacity. We emptied that out as well and it was full of dirt and sediment. Is this...

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

I agree, I don't understand the full workings of an accumulator - hence why I am asking on this forum. I'll be doing the cheapest option first, which is to replace the PRV and see how that affects the outcome. This video shows the issue and possible resolution to the hot water flow:

Will an accumulator solve this issue?

Apparently we are in a hard water area. I'd have said mildly hard
