    Garden bench

Hi, I have a wooden garden bench, it's left in the garden all year round. It's looking pretty sorry for itself but it's still solid. What kind of paint is it best to paint it? I have water based fence paint and oil based fence paint, but don't mind buying something else. Thanks

    Moving a light fitting.

Great, that was my next question! So I take it, it's OK? What wires do I use? Is it ok to put the junction box under insulation or should I leave it on top?

    Moving a light fitting.

Hi, I want to move a light fitting, I've done this before with no problem. This time how ever, the wires are not long enough to put the light fitting where I want it. Is it OK to add about 2ft of wiring with chocolate blocks or do I have to replace the whole wire with a longer piece? If I...

    Bathroom lighting

Hi, I've been looking at bathroom lighting, I'm aware of the different zones. On the picture of the bathroom with the zones marked on, it states IPX4 above the bath. When I google bathroom lights, it comes back with IP65? Is IP65 the same as IPX4? Thanks

    Bathrooms

No, I'm going to do the easy part myself, rip the current one out. My plan is to get the room ready so someone can come in and fit the bathroom suite and do the tiling.

    Bathroom Fan

I'm not sure what voltage the current fan is. It's good to know it allowed to be there, saves me a job with having to fill the hole when I replace it.

    Shower Cable

Thanks for all the replies. When we moved into the house an electric shower was already fitted. We have had a combi boiler installed while we have lived here and the hot water pressure isn't the best which is why we are not going down the mixer tap route. What other realistic options do I...

Hi, I have a Beko Fridgefreezer model number CXF5104W. Recently I have noticed water in defrost water collection channel, the water isn't draining down the hole, it's just spelling over into the crisper. I've poked the drain hole with the plastic poker provided. I've had a look in the back...
