Hi,

We are in the market for a new bathroom.

In our current bathroom, the fan is on the same wall as the shower (electric shower).

They are quite close, is there and measurement that the should be apart, should they even be on the same wall?

As we are doing the bathroom soon, it would be the ideal time to get it moved.

Thanks

There are zoning requirements for electrics in bathrooms. Is your fan an extra low voltage one perhaps? e.g. 12v

240V fans (and electric showers) are allowed in zone 1 - subject to manufacturer's instructions and being IPX4 or 5.

I'm not sure what voltage the current fan is.

It's good to know it allowed to be there, saves me a job with having to fill the hole when I replace it.
