    Painting radiators

I never use radiator paint, but I remember the last time I used it was a good few years ago, and you had to have the rad on, it didnt work on cold rads, I dont know if its made different now, but I use oilbase, either gloss, satinwood or eggshell.

    Debt collecting

Lol, reminds me of a run in I had with a non payer, admittidly it was my first and only time dealing with this type of thing, but it was when I first started out on my own, I was so desperate to get going and get established, I had a gut feeling about this person, and it proved right, it taught...

    Yellow Pages and van signage

I have magnetic signs made up, I know it looks better if its signwritten, but I can take my signs off whenever I want. Try and make your sign eyecatching, so people will remember it, and like Desl says, if its parked out someones home, people will take the number of it. TBH, I have always...

    Edge Gap Filler?

I'll go along with that, I take it that the skirting boards are painted white? If you go along very carefully with decorators caulk, and have a damp cloth handy to wipe any excess off. It might be an idea to do it thinnly, then when dry go it over again, build it up so it looks level against...

    peeling paint problem!!

You can paint skimmed plaster as soon as it does pink, using a supermatt or contract paint. But, when it comes to a bonding plaster like your fireplace, you are not supposed to apply any paint on it for approx 4-6 months. The plaster on the bonding has to dry from the inside out, and if...

    papering window reveals

I sometimes do the way the picture shows, depending on the paper also, like Zamps says, if you do it that way with vinyl paper, make sure you run a bit of overlap adhesive along, to help the paper to stick on the overlap bit, if you havent overlap adhesive, you can use a little bit of decorators...
