    Which of these 3

And what use is the interface to a customer? The Baxi manages a higher efficiency rating than the Vaillant without all the nonsense crap the interface houses.

    Which of these 3

I'd go for the Baxi great boiler for the money, brass componants, s/steel heat ex, grundfos pump etc. Vaillant are just too clever for there own good, the interface is just utterly pointless. Baxi are also cheap to repair should you need too and if the installer is signed onto there rewards...

Flexible 22mm Copper Pipe use with Combi Boiler

Personally i'd use a 32mm waffle valve connected to the 22mm copper pipe work. Id make sure the waffle valve is protected by a cheese wheel preferably cotton coated to avoid the smell. Dont forget to add some inhibitions to the system too and carry out a Wellness test on the gas line. Or...

    Worcester Bosch v Baxi

I agree completely. The WB are are a headache waiting to happen. The Baxi's are really solid pieces of kit, with the advantages of a Stainless steel heat exchanger, cheaper spares (should you need them) and it is much much quieter in operation the WB. Also aeasthetically it looks much more the...

    Advice on combi boiler make/model

37kw combi when the gent has one bathroom and he doesnt care much for baths, has only 15lpm on the cold main. This is over specing to the extreme and wastful in energy too. I would suggest the 24kw would be fine a nd a decent shower will be had from it. Perhaps an upgrade to a 28kw may be in...

Plastic pipes on sealed central heating system.

And why would some boiler manufactures say that its fine? Tell me where i said it was fine for use in every application? I seem to recall saying it was a brilliant product IF used properly. I know that if i had to run a pipe from A-B and I could do it in plastic with no joints and no...

Cant see the end of an insert there............cant really blame the pipe for poor workmanship!

Plastic pipes on sealed central heating system.

Also a nuclear bomb may go off in the loft and the plastic pipe will be sure to leak first.......... Ignore the scaremongers, it really is a brilliant product if used properly. Its opened up basic plumbing to even the novice of DIYers

Plastic pipes on sealed central heating system.

Speedfit are ok but my fav is Hep20, for a DIYER the fittings and components are the most easy to use and IMO the neatest too.

Plastic pipes on sealed central heating system.

Yes indeed to all of them. However i'd be tempted to use the same brand fittings as the pipework. They do all fit and seal however the manufacturers will not say they can be used with another brand product so best do things by the book.

    Vokera Excel 80SP Upgrade

you wont get very much for the old boiler with regards to spares but Vokera do the Unica range, which are great boilers for the money, sedbuk band A rated and will pretty much go straight on the old pipework (with a little messing about!)

condensing boiler gas supply is 15mm ok

15mm could also be okay. Providing you have the correct inlet pressure at the appliance (per manufacturers instructions) and are within your permissable pressure loss tolerances......who gives a stuff??
