Hi I know there is the engineers and customer access code , which one of these as more access to the reprogramming.? Can I set the engineer code the same as the customer code?

Thank you for your help. I double checked each cable over and over again, couldn't find a short circuit . Then when you suggested I might have, I checked again, and guess what there was . I think i know where it might be, the person who installed the alarm ran cables along the carpet gripped...

Hi I've removed the wire and yes the strobe still comes on.

Hi I've tried to reset the alarm, by entering my code, but still the strobe illuminates every 10 secs .

I've got the installation manual with all the codes, cant see a code to reset?. Can see a sounder , strobe switch code 05 5 4 3 2 1 reset

Hi Just installed veritas excel alarm with odessey bell box. All seems to be working, but the strobe on the bell box flashes every 15 to 20 seconds is the how it works..? Cheers

Hi everyone Strobe now settled down, well not now flashing. Don't think texecom bell boxes are as well made as pyronix boxes, but at least the fault has gone. Thanks everyone

Hi thanks for all your assistance. Just fitted a texecom odessey range E bell box. Just one query , The strobe seems to be on permanently, which seems strange to me, expected two flashing less to indicate "live" system.

Which is the best texecom bell box to match my veritas alarm? It obviously that my pyronix bell box , although works with my old system, as I patched it up with my old alarm last night, and works fine, but doesn't with the texecom alarm

Hi I've ran a temp cable from bell box to control box and fault still there. I think I've reached that point I need to call someone in. I did try the link in the bell box, as that's what I had before.

The white wire is connected with the black -12 volts in the control box. I've checked the micro s/w and that's working.

I've doubled checked the wiring, I've connected as attached diagram , when I power the control panel I get tamp alarm yet when I hard wire the D to C with a strap the alarm goes ?? There must be something simple with the pyronix bell box and the veritas panel that I'm missing??

Well there you go, thought I had resolved the tamper issue but as I was trying to program the control box the tamper light came on. Think I may just have to bite the bullet and get someone out. Hate to give in.

Hi Now resolved this issue, change the two wires in the bell box T&T over, didn't know they were polarized?? Now I can start to learn how to program, wish me luck Thank you
