    Cat Flap in Double glazing?

Thanks All :D I think the 'Safest' thing for the cat, would be to put it in the back door, as that goes directly to Garden, front door and glazed units go to the street (although we live in a quiet close). I will contact some companies and see how much. Thanks Again Steve

    Smelly Sink?

Thanks for that :D Yes, the P Trap does have water in it. The main sink doesn't have an overflow, but the 1/2 sink does, but we don't use that much. I did take the P trap off and clean the pipes, there was a bit of 'Sludge' in them. The smell could be the washing machine, that has...

    Stud \ Pipe locator

Thanks for that :D I did try last night with my old detector, if I set it so that it din't quite make a noise, it never did,if I set it so it was making a noise, the tone did change slightly, so that is where I suspect there might be a Stud. Will give it a go and see. Steve

Hi, I have one of those devices that you can use to locate Studs for attaching to, Pipes, cables etc, It was great in my old house (built @1950), but I now have a new buil (2009) and I think that there might be some reflective foil on the back of the plaster board, boucing back to signal...

    Lighting for Loft

Thanks guys, in my old house I had wired in alight that I could walk about with, that worked OK, but I think some properly fitted lights would be better, I did drop the walk about light a few times, and although it was enclosed, it still blew the bulb, so you couldn't see. Still a bit torn...

    Lighting for Loft

Hi, I guess my question has been asked a few times, I did a search and didn't see any recent posts, so here goes. I want to have some lighting in the loft, it's just used for storage, nothing else, OK I will probably need to get a electrician to do it (Part P thing I guess), although I could...

    Cordless Drill - Which One

Wow, thanks for that :D Looks good, £29.99 with 2 batteries and according to the 1 review:- "Good Drill / Driver for DIY, but probably a bit under powered for the professional. No Hammer action so you will need a second hammer drill for brick work etc. The built in light is a great feature...
