Hi I have a kitchen light (a normal lamp holder) with an energy saving light bulb in it. The kitchen light switches on then after a few hours it switches its self off. I have checked for a loose conection in the switch and lamp holder, but can not find any. Any advice would help thanks.

Hi Andrew, Putting waterproof sealant on the render outside might not stop the damp, as if there is no damp course installed the damp will travel up through the bricks. I will suggest 2 things: You could get all the inside walls tanked, which is normally used for basements, this will stop...

Hi thanks for the reply. yes i will be fitting the 40mm solvent weld pipe into the compression fittings of the u trap. Will this be ok?, wasnt to sure if the pipe would fit as i know it has a larger od than pushfit/compression pipe?
