I would definitely fit a new battery, the general rule is replace the battery every 5 if you have no means of testing the battery capacity. Flat battery can make a alarm system do all manor of weird faults. I don't know your panel, can you post a picture of the panel with the fault led active

Your not off to a good start, Why did you run coax you had IP cameras? If your intending to keep your cameras, then you need to replace the cables. Or forget the IP camera's and fit analogue one.

I wouldn't worry about the other sounder connections, they won't need wiring. Looks like you've got a grade 3 sounder

I would imagine you will need the change the ip address of the new cameras so that they are in the range of your NVR.

Hopefully, the cable connected to zone 5 will be labelled in the panel. You can then locate the device and estsblish why it is active. If your lucky you may have a zone list adjacent to the control panel

Your external sounder, decoys and any signage should be your deterrent. Its bad practice to direct motion sensors towards windows. But i wouldn't worry about if its in place.

Thanks, i did a bit more research, and testing found that applying +12v to pin 8 and 0v to gnd on the scart cable triggers the input on the tv. It then reverts to the previous source when the positive is removed. I've now to make up the cable Thanks
