How much does it cost to get a boiler replaced?

Guess the amount charged depends on the plumber and area you live mate and the extent of the job and time worked.

How much does it cost to get a boiler replaced?

Recently had our boiler replaced and it cost £800+ for boiler and £800 for fitting. Just to give you some idea. Try buying a boiler from a plum center or even on-line this may help keep the cost down. Plumber will also need to be corgi registered. Cheers

    Plastic Tile Edging

Hey DH. tiling trim is is applied with tile adhesive. You should leave your top row of tiles when completing a section of the wall the trim will run across. When you get round to finishing the top/ row section place your trim into position then tile in in one go. Better still leave the top row...

Replcing internal door linings & casings

I also have a 1930's property and recently had a joiner in to replace 4 doors and the casings as well. He fitted 4 doors, replaced the casings with rebated casings, hung the doors and fitted the door furniture. He also supplied all the materials, doors, hinges, handles, so everything. We picked...

    Tiling

Hey Bob its fine to tile direct onto plasterboard. I'm guessing its new plasterboard panels? these should give a flat enough surface to tile directly onto. Plasterboard can suck the moisture out of your tile adhesive making the tiles drop of so give any new plasterboard a quick wash over with...

Great job mate....looks great especially if you've never done this before....steep learning curve i bet. The picture you took from shower view looks top. Think of the money you have saved £££ by not paying someone else. Never mind the satisfaction. Nice one.

    Fitting a towel radiator.

Hi there, I'm guessing the pipe work from your existing rad will be 15mil copper? so you should be able to cut of the current pipe just off near/before the elbow where they currently come through your floor and id recommend fitting a flexi pipe with a turn able valve ( like they ones used behind...
