Guess the amount charged depends on the plumber and area you live mate and the extent of the job and time worked.

Recently had our boiler replaced and it cost £800+ for boiler and £800 for fitting. Just to give you some idea. Try buying a boiler from a plum center or even on-line this may help keep the cost down. Plumber will also need to be corgi registered. Cheers :wink:

Hey DH. tiling trim is is applied with tile adhesive. You should leave your top row of tiles when completing a section of the wall the trim will run across. When you get round to finishing the top/ row section place your trim into position then tile in in one go. Better still leave the top row...

Hey Bob its fine to tile direct onto plasterboard. I'm guessing its new plasterboard panels? these should give a flat enough surface to tile directly onto. Plasterboard can suck the moisture out of your tile adhesive making the tiles drop of so give any new plasterboard a quick wash over with...
