I did think of that, but given the number of pips the year before, I wouldn't have thought that birds could eat that much. This year however I did not see much fruit form at all.

The tree is in a good sunny position. Not full sun until 11.30 depending on time of year. It is in a reasonable sheltered position. It has been pruned and is a pretty good shape, not over crowded. the soil is acidic. This will be my second summer with the tree so really don't have any history...

Yes there was a large amount of blossom on the tree. This was a first summer in the house so cannot be to sure of when it last bore fruit, but I would suggest it was fairly recently before we moved in due to the number of seeds on the ground. :wink:

I moved house just over a year ago and have a mature cherry tree (approx 20 yrs old), in the garden, however last summer it bore no fruit at all. Does anyone know the reason why or possible causes for this and a solution for next year. many Thanks :roll:

No have an electronic programmer and can set up to 3 time settings ( we have morning lunchtime and evening) lunchtime and evening wor ok.

No don't have to press reset button does come back on if needed for HW. If i press for instant CH (ie out of programmed times) the heating comes on fine. This is purely a morning problem in that once it has turned itself off it does not come back on until needed for HW heating. ? Thanks...

Actual programmer as in I need a new one or just the wiring from it ?

Thx Bearing in mind I know nothing about this sort of thing. Does this boiler have one of these PCB's that I keep reading about ?. If so could it be that ?

Thanks Kev. Had the problem of heating only coming on with hot water even when the heating was off on the programmer. Called our plumber mate out and he advised that valve was sticking , we had the same problem last year and he freed it up but this time advised on replacing it so this we did...

HI guys, Have a Suprima L boiler which is causing me grief at the moment. Comes on in the morning as timed with no problem to heat rads. Seems to turn itself off after about 45mins (presumably has reached temperature) even though heating has not reached setting on room thermostat. Rads then...
