yup should have said. The flat ended keys are a bloody lifesaver at times. the brass ones all seem to be chamfered in a bit and no depth on the nipples so just slip over them. Flat keys ive found always grey in colour and solid handle ends..ie..no holes to put on your bunch of keys etc..

only small holes like 5mm to 10mm and keep a few buckets slow and steady :o

as for your pressure gauge..if no evidence of leaks just keep topping it up untill u get to the root of the problem. wont work at all if no pressure in the system. As for hot water..they are a shared heat ex so have a flow switch on the left hand side as u look in.maybe its going faulty and...

PS. make sure water is off and cyliner drained etc :lol:

if no drain drill a few holes in the back boiler and fire it into buckets. then off down the scrap yard for your reward :wink:

depending on how old your radiator is or the type depends if u can replace the bleed or not. Some air nipples are in 1/2" plugs which can be unwound and replaced. Some are in 1/4" plugs too which can be replaced but are easily chewed and can be a nightmare. And some nipples are into the...

Have u tried leaving different rads off at a time? Or is it just the one certain rad when u switch on it shuts the boiler off etc?

check my post in your projects for pics. You couldnt just run it over your wood floor as will loose heat downwards. Its all about insulating below so the heat HAS TO GO UP..thus it warms your room etc... A lot of hard graft digging the floor up for me as earth. But for joists u can get...
