iv done a zillion timing chains on these dude, nip it 2 some 1 who,s had previous experience, he'll diagnose if its the timing chain without even lifting the bonnet- if its that- expect to pay £200. theres nothing you can do to prevent it other than use correct oil and keep it topped up. kind...

i wouldnt bother with a dealer service dude- they wont even remove the wheels till the brakes have collapsed-all you get is an oil change for £200- if its ready for tyres then get it done with tracking- dont go for the lazers- do it over a tracking plate, costs £20 at my gaf and is much better...

swap the wheels from front to rear dude- tracking isnt an advisory on mot- my monies on un even or non matching tyres, if its exectly same as swap then keep looking but id say tyres is your man

again- i think their is a widespread misconception about biodiesel. all manufacturers warranty its use upon request. vw, audi, skoda and seat include its use in their handbook, but their is no gumming up of injectors- biodiesel en14214 has the same properties as diesel en590 for motor fuel use...

i was also bemused how you were able to attempt to make biodiesel without using a catalyst or methanol??? it sounds like your just filtering and then using-- which works great for alot of people- but it does give biodiesel a bad name- if its not en14214- then its not biodiesel- its jus some guy...

i was surprised to hear you thought it illegal fattony- i thought everyone knew the government promoted its use and even gave duty relief on the first 2500ltrs use. every diesel is already using it as its in the pumps from the beginning so no worries about compatability or manufacturers...

i had 1 on loan for a week mate, it generally had its engine running full time, but the electric motor assisted on pull off etc. you could overide and work exclusively on electric but the speed was limited,cant remember exectly what to but think it was 30mph?? it wasnt pretty, wasnt that nice...

if they were replaced last time dude then no need for replacement, if your worried about them that much then treat them with grease for preservation- other than that- you wouldnt replace every bulb on your car or each bush just incase they might fail for mot- so wait for them to fail or advise...
