No I think it needs balancing. If you turn the valves down on the closest radiators and turn them up on the furthest away radiators they should all be get the same temperature.

You need to be a bit more clear. Have you got water coming out of the hot tap but it's just not hot or do you have no water at all coming out of the hot tap? If you have water coming out of the hot tap and it's just not hot - did you remember to turn the immersion heater off when you...

Look here to repressurise your system - http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=38904 Once you have topped up your pressure to 1.5 bar, bleed all the cold radiators and once they are all done repressurise your system to 1.5 bar once again.

Turn off all the hot/warm radiators (on the thermostatic valve) in your house and turn up the heating to full.. It sounds like an air lock and this will push it out and should heat up all the other radiators. Once they are warm turn everything back on.

Turn off mains cold water. Drain central heating system from lowest point. Cut pipes. Cap off pipes. Turn water back on. Bleed all radiators. Turn on heating / Test.

Turn your heating on full and turn off all the other TRVs in the house off. Might just be an air lock? :roll:

Get some "Wet & Dry" paper (say grade 600) and use some soapy water as a lubricant. .. Or go into your local merchants and get a "plumber rubber"

If you insist on a 10mm feed WC then my advice is use as little 10mm as possible and make the 15mm run right up to the WC connection point. ... and hopefully your gravity pressure is good enough to fill your cistern quick enough for your liking. Whats the pressure like in your 'tank fed' taps?

Ok, if the other taps in your house are working fine that means the problem is with the kitchen tap itself. Maybe it is intended for high pressure systems only. Or maybe you got a bit of 'gunk' stuck inside the tap? The fault with your washing machine sounds like the valve you turned off to...

Well firstly you need to establish if the valve is working! If it's not working you will need to get it replaced.

No need to take it out, just measure the height of the magna clean itself and check you have that much room above it before the ceiling. It should be cleaned every time the boiler is serviced.

Can you not turn it off on the other end (Lockshield)? Pull off the little white cap and turn the little valve completely clockwise. :roll:
