Do i need this watertank with a combi?

Is it being heated? Before you do anything you need to work out why it is there. If you discover that it is required for some reason you won't be able to move it to the loft, it needs a cold water cistern to feed it from above and the easiest way to do this is from the floor above.

biasi 24s Diverter Valve service kit

The spring that 'pushes' the pin out is not the one on the spindle assembly. You should have received a cone shaped spring as well. No. As long as the spindle is smooth and clean and this assembly looks in tact then it should be as it was manufactured, and work. Your kit should contain 2...

    Shower pump question.

Yes, I should have said most installation manuals say 2m min head. I think it's fair to say, as you effectively point out, that placing a pump on the same surface as the water supply would be fine.

    Shower pump question.

They normally require a 2m min head but I've seen them working perfectly well with as little as about 750mm. Bear in mind head is measured to the surface of the stored water.

Twin pump: Alter HWC pipework or fit flange?

I earlier incorrectly said that the cold pump feed should be above the cold feed to the HWC. To clarify: Cold pump feed should be BELOW HWC cold feed - apologies for this. Particularly annoying as it was only 2 weeks ago I last installed a shower pump  Correctly I might add!!

Twin pump: Alter HWC pipework or fit flange?

Ok, sorry didn't read your OP properly! So you're pumping all hot outlets?? There could be some reduction in performance if you use more than one outlet at once but otherwise the warix/surrey flange should be fine - at least you won't be dragging air. You could fit a 28mm essex flange but this...

Twin pump: Alter HWC pipework or fit flange?

Why the 'but'? This type of flange (warix/surrey) is an easy way of installing a pump with an air free connection, as is required. The cold feed connection should be inserted into the cold tank BELOW the level of the cold feed to the HWC.

    Glowworm Bolier F9 Fault

F9 is a rather generic fault code in many cases so although loosely related to pressure/circulation it could be indicating the onset of diverter valve breakdown. If you can, remove the DV, disassemble and clean it, lubricate with silicone grease, reassemble and replace. I have also seen F9...
