Replacing thermostat on Beko LSG1545W fridge

Would anyone know how to replace the thermostat on a Beko LSG1545W fridge? I found the user manual but it does not provide any details on how to dismount the original thermostat from the fridge ceiling. Thanks!

    Beko LSG1545W not cooling down.

Hi all, I have a Beko LSG1545W, the fridge was left unplugged with the door opened for 4 months. Today it was turned on for 15 min and seemed to work, then it was switched off again for cleaning. Once plugged back in after the cleaning, only the light works when opening the door. The...

Google Nest Thermostat on Y Plan - White cable from motorised valve

Just for completeness, and to help people using a Relay Junction Box RJ 2802 (Satchwell Sunvic 437-2-802) together with a DM5601 actuator (for a MK1453 3 port valve), I wired my Google Nest according to the above diagram and everything works fine.

Google Nest Thermostat on Y Plan - White cable from motorised valve

Sorry my second diagram was a bit misleading as the Heat Link was titled as Thermostat, I have now uploaded a more accurate diagram with the devices being properly named.

Google Nest Thermostat on Y Plan - White cable from motorised valve

Yep, I bought a Nest (as shown in your photo), not a Nest E.

Google Nest Thermostat on Y Plan - White cable from motorised valve

Hi Ian, since I want to use the Nest thermostat in situ of the old room thermostat (I will route the 12V from the Nest Heat Link using the existing wires), I believe the second diagram is pretty accurate. Hi Eric, the thread you pointed out was mine. At the time I had to do a temporary repair...

Google Nest Thermostat on Y Plan - White cable from motorised valve

I currently have a Y plan Central Heating system, my junction box is unusual as it contains a Omron MY4 relay, i.e. a relay that controls 3 ports RL1, RL2 and RL3 as shown from the wiring diagram below: I would like to replace my programmer with a Nest Heat Link and the room thermostat by a...

Could this automatic air vent really be installed horizontally?

Thanks Terry, I managed to find a 3/8" male to female elbow at my local plumb shop which allowed me to install the 3/8" air vent in a vertical position, all sorted.

Could this automatic air vent really be installed horizontally?

Here is a photo of the auto air vent: I have now determined it is a 3/8" thread. Since I cannot find any direct replacement (i.e. air vent with 3/8" side entry), I am thinking of getting: - 3/8" air vent https://www.screwfix.com/p/bottle-air-vent-3-8/76650 and - Male 3/8" to Female 3/8"...

Could this automatic air vent really be installed horizontally?

Hi all, The Q&A for https://www.screwfix.com/p/bottle-air-vent-15mm/34359 stipulates that the automatic air vent can be installed horizontally, which I find strange, do you think this is correct or a mistake? I need to replaced a damaged 1/2" or 3/8" air vent with side entry but not sure about...

    Cleaning / servicing a 3 way valve.

I installed a Sunvic MK1453 (3 way valve) around 2 years ago, however the internal mechanism often gets stuck when trying to reach the hot water position. I opened the valve and cleaned it using a plastic brush (as shown in the photo below) not to make any damages: It worked for a bit but...

    Upgrading 6 port 10mm manifold to 15mm.

I agree it is not broken, but not running great either; some of the radiators are not that warm at the bottom; I know it is not sludge but rather a balancing / flow issue because if I shut all radiators apart from an 'affected' one, the whole radiator is properly hot. I will spend more time on...

    Upgrading 6 port 10mm manifold to 15mm.

Dan, Andrew, Using the spare port was my original idea, however since I will have access to the piping under the floorboards, I thought it would be an opportunity to replace all the existing 10mm pipes since: 1) some of the radiators are located quite far from the main pipe, I do not think 10mm...

    Upgrading 6 port 10mm manifold to 15mm.

I am about to install a new radiator, all the current ones are using 10mm pipes (very old installation) but I am going to use 15mm for this one (as it is far away and will mean 15mm piping will already be install for future upgrade of the central heating system). However since I had to lift...

Removing 'stain' caused by caulk on newly painted wall.

I recently painted a wall (in dark grey), before painting I filled the gap from a small crack using some caulk, I applied 2 coats of grey paint but the repair I did is showing through the paint: Since it is a bit difficult to distinguish the 'stain' on the above photo, I highlighted it in...

Using 15mm plastic pipe on an old 10mm copper installation.

Sorry you are right Tony, this is 2100 W, typo from my side.

Using 15mm plastic pipe on an old 10mm copper installation.

Thanks Tony, this makes sense to use 15mm pipes, specially since the radiator (not purchased yet) is 2100 kW (around 7300 BTUs).

Using 15mm plastic pipe on an old 10mm copper installation.

Thanks a lot, I already got the correct fittings to connect 10mm copper pipes to the manifold. In my case I am only using 15mm plastic pipes due to the distance of the radiator (around 10m away) and in case I upgrade the system in the future, I will already have 15mm pipes running under the...
