How do you define the size of coving
100mm, 127mm & 135mm coving - where is this measurement taken? Is is the length of the curve from edge to edge? Is it the vertical depth of the bottom edge from the ceiling? Any clues gratefully received.- Ron Gamma

Whats this called?
If I need to repair this sort of damage to artexing (particularly when removing big light fittings where the heat has flaked the artexing away above it) I make up a loose mix of coving adhesive and lay it on using the wide flat side of a 2.5inch brush.
