Texecom V2 app upgrade from V1 difficulty.

All sorted with all the firmware upgrades done successfully and the new app connected and logged in. Disappointed with the diagnostics in the cloud account though. I guess wintex would give me more comprehensive diagnostics such as battery strength etc.

Texecom V2 app upgrade from V1 difficulty.

Thank you for your kind response. I have successfully connected my cloud account to the panel. I will run full disgnostics to make sure everything is working ok. Then I'll flash the smartcom and flash the panel. Are there any pointers you can give thereafter?

Texecom V2 app upgrade from V1 difficulty.

Just to note. I do have my own texecom cloud account although didn’t see the need to use it. Thinking ahead would i be able to bind the texecom connect to my own cloud account?

Texecom V2 app upgrade from V1 difficulty.

I’ve been maintaining a Texecom Elite since the local alarm installer went under. I’m currently using a V1.0.12.07 app which is old and I've just had a notification to upgrade. Even though i have the engineer code i’m unable to upgrade as i don't know the email address and password. Is there...

    Wet brickwork under fascia

Since the roof is 60 years old, a new roof would be more thermally efficient, and we plan to stay for another 30 years or until we die, I'm gathering quotations for a new roof because it appears that the rot has spread to various areas. Since two roofers have already stated that a new roof is...

    Wet brickwork under fascia

So i’ve had a local company pop round to take a look at the roof. Transpires none of the tiles are nailed to the laths (i thought they were placed over the laths not nailed). Lath in the photo showing sign of rot and theres little over hang with the tiles. Been told i need a new roof. This is...

    Wet brickwork under fascia

After further investigation i noticed that a roof tile had slipped. I got a local roofer in to take a look and he has said some of the lafts had rotted which has caused the slippage. He’s not sure how far up the problem is although he noticed a hole in one of the tiles halfway up. He was in...

    Wet brickwork under fascia

I noticed a wet patch on the brickwork after a heavy downpour. Its adjacent to the down pipe. See photo. I havnt been able to get up the ladder to take a look due to the weather. I assume it could be a blocked or partially blocked downpipe? Any ideas?

    Virgin Landline not Working

I re-decorated an upstairs bedroom which had a telephone extension (see Photo 1), or I assumed it was an extension. This extension hasn't been used for years so I decided to disconnect it. I then noticed a few days later that nobody could call in on the landline and the caller receives a message...

    Damp Front Doorstep

I’ve noticed a large damp area on our front doorstep. The doorstep is within a dry warm porch. I’ve included photos for reference. I’m wondering where this is coming from, i suspect the outside storm drain may have become overwhelmed with the current heavy rain fall making the ground saturated...

Texecom Premier Elite, battery replacement and tamper query.

My alarm system is a Texecom Premier Elite. This year I intend to replace the batteries in the wireless PIR’s, main panel battery and the wired bell box. Will the tamper be put on hold/pause while I swap out the main control panel battery and wireless PIR batteries if I enter the engineer code...
