    im installing a switched out door light to the rear of my property. will be spuring off from a nicely located 13amp double socket located on a ring. will be installing a 3amp FCU in close proximity to the original socket then will be heading through the cavity wall to the great outdoors...

    cheers guys, will replce the 32A with a 20A tomorrow.. my freezer in the kitchen is RCD protected and thats a built in under bench thing. im not really that fussed about the rcd as its just an extra protection device at end of day. im in and out garage anyway as i got a tumble dryer in there...

    hi, yeah you have a valid point there, no i dont want my freezer to be on an rcd !! did not forward think that one. haha. how easy is it to remove the rcd protection from the garage supply? obviously its in my main CU but is it just a matter of moving wires from one side to another???
