    yes had a new one last week from bg , i paid for a fixed fee repair but get a different bloke everytime, just annoyed now want it fixed and next time it goes will get a worcester as am fed up ,its just problem after problem.

    had a different guy come out today from bg to fit the new switch, after he fitted it the problem came back . he did not think it was the air pressure switch in the first place, so he cleaned the flame sensor and played about with the gas valve but still not fixed. he is coming back tomorrow to...

    sounds like you have some movement with cracks appering, call out a structural engineer, he will monitor it for a period of time then decide if any work is needed, sometimes it does not need any

    why not use hangers that you can cut into the wall, but fill your holes first. you can get these at most builders merchants

    got to the bottom of this one, had a company come out who looked at it and said was either pcb or the gas valve, they said they would find out and get back to me , i have not seen them or heard a word,so called out british gas, they found the the prob in 10 mins , it was a faulty air pressure...

    you could mark the window on the inside and drill holes every 10mm , it will save the dust on the inside and chop out quite easy

    help me i beg ,got a prob with this boiler it keeps cutting out when heating is on , it does the same with dhw starting and stoping every 10-15 secs was told it was prob the pcb so have changed it but still the same,any clues guys :(

    there should be insulation in there, but if not put it in and you can get fire proof plasterboard , i would stick that up and skim it to meet building regs.

    sounds like you need to hire a dehumidifier. this will get rid of your problem. you will be suprised how much water comes out , i have known them to suck out several 25 litre drums a day

    it does take a few days to go off at this time off the year, not much suction on them type of bricks. as long as the work was covered it should be ok :lol:
