Neighbour wants to put a paving slab up against the wooden fence to bank up soil. Is their anything i can put in between the wooden boards and the paving slab to prevent the wood rotting?

These are minor cracks. instead of lifting and re-setting the ridge tiles, (a job I could well do without) does anyone know if there are any products that I could paint/spray on that would seal any cracks etc in the mortar? the roof is sound otherwise and lifting and re-setting the ridge tiles...

Forgot to say the previous tv signal wasn't effected when the recorder was switched off., when off I'm not sure how much signal degridation there would be Sorted the sound, got bass n treble upto 100% and is good

The recorder didn't seem to affect previous tvs, util now. Just bought a linsar tv, which struggled to get a picture. I did have the aerial plugged into the recorder, with a drop lead from the recorder to the tv. I had to bypass the recorder, plugging the aerial directly into the tv...

I've got 9 year old tyre, spare being 12yo and never used. Plenty but conflicting info. On Internet, is 10yo. An advisable limit. They look great visually, no cracks bulges etc but not sure if hidden issues

If for whatever reason, the low voltage output was shorted, would something blow internal , or could it be a fire hazard?

Yeah i think it's designed to deter alternatives. Will need to do some soldering to swap polarity.. One thing I'm not sure about is potential damage if shorted on the low voltage end being outdoors. The replacement just states "shortage protection"
