The bottom edge of the hole looks broken.. that may be stopping it securing into place? You could try using glue to fix the grille first. then when dry, try fitting the badge.

I didnt witness the event.. I was told that the energy saving bulb went with a bang and something flew out the light fitting. The fuse forthe lighting circuit also went. Should the light fitting be investigated further or do these things blow like that?

yep your ok legally till the existing one runs out.. but.. MoTs are for a reason so i'd use the time left to get it sorted.

if yr car isnt dragging anything or anything hanging off then yes I reckon this is the best bet..

better of in my opinion to buy a spare wheel n tools and do it yourself.. I think its a faff on otherwise

Yup.. much better than cans of inflation sealant stuff. but thats what they offer unfortunatly. If you buy a car then get a wheel.. and knowledge if needed.. just a thought, if they dont supply spare wheels do they supply tools? jack wheel brace?

some cars dont have em. I think you get a can of sealant if you get a puncture.. others on here may tell you more. a neighbour bought a spare wheel but as there's no spare wheel well it takes lots of room up in the boot.
