Can bonnet hip tiles be used on gable ends

I appreciate detailing but on the right property. I suppose you'd get a more accurate opinion if you posted a photo of the house rather than a drawing, we don't have the benefit of knowing what it really looks like.

Can bonnet hip tiles be used on gable ends

I'm not keen on double crested ridge tiles. A nightmare on butt cheeks when repointing :) They're a bit too fussy, IMHO. Look ok(ish)on slate roofs. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, a roof is to keep you dry, the simpler the roof the better. You have probably the best roof money can buy, why...

There's underfelt that is a secondary barrier. It was just an observation, it looks like there's quite a bit of tile showing. It's probably the way it looks on a small screen.

    Damp Valley of Nightmares

Not sure as I'm viewing the photos on an iPhone so not best quality, have you checked the headlap on the tiles? There seems to be a lot of tile showing, especially in photo 2 it looks like there's about 30-50mm of headlap judging by the amount of tile on show. As I say, on an iPhone so not easy...

Ree, PBC_1966, misterhelpful. Is This US Presidential Poll Worrying?

Trump ahead on 38% Cruz 2nd on 15%. I'd be interested in hearing from ree, misterhelpful and pbc on this matter. What's the general feeling in the US about Trump, his campaign, his mad views and chances of getting the top job? I can't imagine having a Trump in the Oval Office would be...

    Cheap parking space

My neighbour has had them since I moved here 15 years ago, parks a RR on it almost every day of the week without problems. I don't see many other unobtrusive solutions. There's always two rows of flags or block paving.

If you get turned on by birds of prey

It could be hawkwood. If I wrote a song whilst on the loo, I could have a no1 on my hands. If a park keeper gets overtime to clear leaves, is he raking it in? Bored, any more one liners most welcome.

    Unsolicited telephone calls

I worked at BT many, many years ago when Sir George Jefferson was CEO. As per previous post I've had calls from 0000 numbers also. These are usually from overseas(India) companies.

    Unsolicited telephone calls

@PBC_1966 Thanks for the extensive explanations, obviously experienced in telecommunications. Not sure if you'll know the answer to this. On one or two occasions I've received a call or text on my mobile and the number shown as the texter or caller is my own number. How do they do this?
