Bosch pre wash light comming on!

You may already have an answer, however, we had a similar problem and usually means the heating element has busted. If you replace it also do a clean out of all the pipes inside the machine. Apparently blocakges in these pipes can cause problems. We has two elements go in quick succession...

    Hob/earth fault??

It was the RCD - maybe it was just a surge after firing it up, but it is working okay now. I was more conerned with the resistance, I thought that all circuits should be 'clean'. Tks

    Hanging kitchen cabinets

Thanks Masona - our problem is that there is a step in the wall so needed a batten to bring all units into the same plane. Nige & Pete - don't do that to me! Anyway units have been up for three days now and no sign yet of them coming off. The wife hasn't quite filled them to...

    Hanging kitchen cabinets

Have a small problem and I hope someone has the advice to get me over it. In order to level a wall we are hanging our units on I had to put a 2" x 3" batten on the wall over a length of 200cm. The units will be hung from this batten with a similar depth batten at the base of each unit for...

Is this the answer - finally

Got home tonight to do the hydrogen test and - no air to bleed from system AND the lazy rad is beginning to heat up. I just filled the split hex nut on the AAV with temp putty leak repair last night. Not saying that was the reason for air in system before, but co-incidence? Thanks Ricarbo for...

A point of interest on CH gases, although probably not to the professionals, I also spoke again with Fernox re inhibitors [see other post titled inhibitors] apparently mixing Fernox with SoNi inhibitors could possibly cause a reaction producing gases in the system i.e. not air. They have...

    Bath Taps

Sorry Jase - can't help you with the plumbing technicals - I'm just a punter who went through a whole heap of design and catalogue roaming when we had a couple of new bathrooms fitted. The pro-plumber did the rest. In our installtion the pipes were 'buried' behind plasterboard with the...

Thanks Chris. Pipes are 22mm. I have tried balancing but this one rad steadfastly refuses to get hot, just warm. maybe I'll give it another bash, failing that top up the inhibitor, wait 'til spring and get someone in to give the whole system a once over. Thanks for advice.

Thanks SMJ - I'll replace, I've got to nw anyway - it's leaking good and proper. I was also concerned about position of pump between cold feed and three port. On reading other posts I though order was cold feed, vent, pump but I suppose in my case with a combined feed and expansion this is...

Opened top plug - no air Opened side hex plug - water only leaking out. Now not able to stop it. Bolt also looks split . I'll have to replace. Only two years old shouldn't have gone that quickly surely, especially if 'unused'. No name just 10 bar - 110c - presume pressure and temp...
