I dont think that will work. the straight pipe has to come over enough to miss the joist, maybe i'm being a bit dim but i cant see how that suggestion would work?

Anyone else have any advise?

Is it as simple as buying a piece of pipe that reduces from 110-82 them? Can you get flexible pipe for this? If so that would make it easier getting round the joist.

I would prefer to use solder as i thought that was the proper way to do it. Do yorkshire fitting have the solder inside them already? do you just heat them and let the solder melt? or do you need to use more solder?

I'm currently doing my bathroom up and this will mean moving the Rad, at the moment the pipes for the bathroom radiator come straight through the wall from the bedroom as all the pipes are above the floor boards. now as i need to move these pipes i'm thinking off putting them under the floor...

hi guys, do i need to do anything to the new wall before its plastered? you mention skrim tape over joints, is this self adhesive or do i use something else to stick it? also, what about the joint where the new wall meets the old wall?

thanks jerrym. I'm planning on dot and dabbing the walls and using plaster board, as i'm tiling the bathroom i dont think its worth having it plastered. do i need to do anything to the walls before i dot and dab?

just wanted to say thanks for the advise. Got the SDS bit for my drill and it came off with ease. Would you recomend a wire brush to get all the little bits off or is there something else I could use?
