    Shower pump recommendations please.

Hans Grohe generally need quiet high pressures just to work and that a rain style shower head and you probably need 3.0bar rain heads cover larger diameters therefore you do not get high pressure but you do use a large quantity of water. With the valve you will get a min spec for pressure...

    Easy shower installation!

As the other posters say you will not get a good shower from gravity feed especially the way shower valves are manufactured nowadays, I would either pump it or use a power shower like these little cheapies http://www.tapstore.com/acatalog/New_Team_power_showers.html Bristan do make a shower...

    Diagram for new Pipes

If you have the two sinks and the bath on the same waste pipe you could get glugging at one of the sinks when letting out the bath water, if its easy enough then seperate them. P.s I do not know where you can buy green waste pipe from you should maybe use Grey :)

    Mains water flooding a house?

I see what you mean, Who has the waste going out at that angle, the over flow pipe on a standard bath overflow is not that generous in length, so they have connivently double kinked the copper pipes down from the mixer, and what flexi cons recommend being bent like they have in the image pre the...

    Mains water flooding a house?

I fitted a device that is a switch operated by air that turns the water on and off I think it was called water stop but cannot remember the exact name, that worked well bit like a light switch to operate the main stopcock. Easy to use and consumer freindly.

    Baffling Thermostatic Shower Valve Problem

You are gravity fed both sides of the valve therefore you should have the same flow/pressure give or take a tad hot and cold, removing the non return valves will not suddenly give you cold flow if you are getting hot you should have cold. if any thing you will get a slightly better cold flow as...

    new shower mixer/dial type

If yo have access to the pipe work behind then it should not be a problem, at present there is a standard import (italian/Chinese) manual valve that most manufacturers are using which has 60 - 65mm between two female 1/2" bsp connections facing right and left also there is the 150mm centers...

Showers - are they all the same?

No you can not compare those shower valves, the one on ebay is making big claims saying it is okay for combi boilers but no plumber worth his salt would fit a manual valve on a combi system. I would not get one from b&q as they are now not main brands as they now import. You have to fit a...

    shower pump

If the shower valve is a manual use a pump with a centrifugal impellor and a bypass loop fitted http://www.tapstore.com/acatalog/QT80BP_Whole_House_Pump_2_30bar.html that is the quietest on the market. You can use screwfix one if it is a thermostatic shower valve but they are not designed for...
