    Electric shower pull cord

    The green button is what looks like a little black line inside the ring where the pull cord comes out. It's pushed in now and flush with the surface. If I pull the cord it pops back out and the switch won't pull again until the button is pushed again.

    Our shower pull cord won't pull this morning. It was stuck in the off position but it has a tiny green button on it and if I press that the power switches on. If I pull the chord to turn it back off it doesn't go back on again. Why does the green button turn it back on? Why does it keep...

    Wales. What would happen if we don't fix the tile?. The soffits have been like that since the house was re-rendered a few years ago. They tucked the aerial cables behind them I think. Yes the bottom tiles are different. They'd changed those before we moved in.

    What is eaves felt? That's reassuring if I don't need to empty the loft if the roof needs replacing. I hope it doesn't come to that though! I guess I was hoping someone would say the tile is no problem then I needn't worry about it any more

    I've noticed a tile on our roof that isn't laying flat like the others. It's lifted slightly at the bottom and side leaving a small gap. There seems to be a slight bow in the roof and this tile is at the edge of it. Questions are : is this tile a problem? There's no leak in the loft. I'm scared...
