    hello, i need to run a kitchen ring from under the floor boards downstairs out into the extension (kitchen) that is being built now, the floor is going to be concreted and screeded. would plastic conduits be ok???

    I have a air vent already in my bathroom (grill face then a void then the outer grill face). im thinking of putting an extraction fan in this void i already have. The hole is 170mm x 170mm approx. Ive seen the 4" and 6" circular fans but not ones to put in this void. Any ideas anyone??

    On GENT addressable output units the interface has connections for the in and out of the loop and connections for C, NO and NC. when connecting up the NO or NC is the blue or brown used????? thanks.

    I was thinking of taking the tumble dryer apart to see if there was any water damage visable but before i do this, there is continuity between the earth and neutral on the flex? could that be causing the RCD to trip????

    A relative of mine is in the process of buying a 3 bed house that needs alot of work doing to it! It doesn't have a central heating system and i was wondering if there were any tips or advice out there for installing a whole new system????? thanks.

    It was the neural that had been put on the RCD side. is it something inside the boiler that causes an imbalance?

    it has its own mcb, would you say it wouldn't trip out if the neutral was on the non rcd side?

    A friend of mine has a split load CU with the boiler circuit on the non RCD side. when the boiler itself is turned on it trips the RCD? Is there a problem with the boiler? Should it still trip the RCD?
