Don't use the hoover directly on the cone. I did and it ripped the thing apart!

Seeing as it's costing a £1000 I would change every six months to start with. After that I would examine them closely to see how clogged they are. Maybe the filters can be soaked in vinegar and reused? Also the heating tank part uses about £40 of electricity in standby mode a year.

It's a V10-28L and it's in the loft. The aerial is looped through in the normal way. No filter installed. What I don't get is why my Samsung TV says 100% signal quality on UHF60 but my Panasonic recorder says 0% (80% on UHF56 and 60% on UHF58). Maybe there's a passive splitter inside...
