Most manufacturers are now looking for people with a few years proven experience on service/breakdowns,worcester bosch like you to have 4 years and vaillant 3 years from the jobs ive seen advertised on various websites,besides rig careerline.co.uk advertise a few aswell.

Just replace the head on the valve,if you feel confident with some diy electrical work,if not its an easy fix for a boiler engineer.

It may not be a problem on the oil pump,could be faulty solenoid or photocell.

if you move the boiler,it would be classed as a new instalation and a condensing boiler would need to be fitted to comply with building regs,youll probably find that you can just hear the burner more now that the wall has been removed.

Try your photocell,next time fan runs but it wont ignite,disconnect it,if its at fault burner will ignite then go out after a few seconds.

Press in the grey button and hold it in,press the black button a few times which will cause a spark and ignite the pilot,keep the grey one pressed in for 10 seconds after it has ignited,let go and it shoul;d stay a light if thermocouple is ok.
