did you fit the oil pump motor yourself? if so you will need an engineer in to set the oil pressure/air mixture adjustment otherwise it may run but not last too long!

Thats the one yeah,shouldnt jam the motor though even its its worn.

slacken off the grub screws on the oil pump and try it then,may not be located properly.

Cloudy hot water is nothing more than he oxygen in it,nothing to do with a plate heat exchanger cleaning itself.

Have you tried pressing the overheat stat reset button aswell?

see if the motor will start with the oil pump disconnected,or just try loosening the grub screws holding the pump to the motor,had a few of these which would not start up after a pump/motor replacement due to the pump being slightly out of line onto the motor housing.

The coil in the cylinder may be leaking ,mixing water from the ch system with the hot water in the tank,if it is then=new cylnder.

The replacement valves for the heat slaves come with a terminal block attatched to connect to the pcb,should take bout an hour to drain boiler and replace whole valve.You may not see the lever move but in dhw mode the lever will move with some resistance,in ch mode the lever will move freely.

does the boiler fire up when you turn the water on only at high pressure?

Sounds like you have found your problem :)

They sound like the overheat stat and the air vent.The reset button is the oval shapped button on the front panel which will flash red when there is a fault if i am thinking of the right model.

Possibly divertor valve head,and or body,if its the grey plastic type head valve is spring loaded but sometimes gets stuck at bottom,easy to remove the head and take a look.

Your towel rail is probably fitted without a trv,most of these are,this will then also act as a bypss should all the other rads close off on their trv`s.

If the boiler wil not start and there are no lights on it,basically it i not getting any power sent to it,due to overheat stat tripping,boiler not getting a signal to turn on,or a fuse blown ,have you checked the fuse in fused spur to the boiler?

If it it was the burner that had locked out pressing the reset button would usually start the motor up,but seems you say everything is dead i suspect the overheat stat has tripped,or the motor has had it,does the reset button light up?to bleed the oil through,u need to loosen the nut on the side...

When tap turned on without ch fan starts and it locks out within 5 seconds before burner ignites,input into flow turbine is correct,just strange hw it does not cause a lockout when the heating is on .

Looked at one of these friday,dhw will work ine when heating is on,turn a tap on without te heating and fan will sart up and boiler goes to lockout,tested the flow turbine and im getting the required 5vdc to it but only 0.5v dc instead of the 1.5v to 4v when tap is turned on,but manual says this...

Try manually opening the prv a few times sometimes this will re seat it andstop it leaking,also as mentioned check the expansion vessel
