    baxi 80e - HW & CH on-off-on-off etc :(

How would the CH thermister affect the DHW? and what does OH stand for... :? I would thought as the symptoms are the same regardless of whether its the DHW or CH thats on,that its one component that both systems use. Worth Pointing out that when the hot water is running, when the flame...

    baxi 80e - HW & CH on-off-on-off etc :(

when either the DHW or CH is running after a few minutes of continuous operation, the flame goes out (If it's CH, then the pump continues to operate). The flame then tries to kick in again, fails, tries again, fails a few more times, then woof, it fires up. Give it another 30 secs and off it...

Adding a stat to baxi 80e

EDIT: So i opened the boiler in order to link T1&2 together and there was already a link cable in there. It's a standard terminal block, and the link was linking one end of the two individual blocks together and then two black wires coming out the other end of each. I followed these two and...

Adding a stat to baxi 80e

I have a Baxi 80e with wireless Towerstat RF/BM. The Rx unit has died a death, and i'm going to put the old mechanical timer unit back in. Problem is there was no stat, which is why I replaced it with the Towerstat. I am going to buy a wired room stat, and whilst I am quite competent...

    BAXI 80e keeps cutting out

ok, so I had heating for a couple of hours last night, but not this morning :( I noticed again last night that the pressure gauge showed low(0.8), so topped it up(1.5). This morning it's showing low again(1), and coincidentally, no heating. Could I have a leak in the CH system? Also, if...

    BAXI 80e keeps cutting out

ok, before I go connecting together two terminals, are they live, or low voltage triggers for a relay? and i take it this will just fire up the boiler bypassing the heating timer control, allowing the boiler to function independently and then i see if it's a boiler problem if it still cuts out?

    BAXI 80e keeps cutting out

I have a Baxi 80e combi with a Towerstat RF/BM wireless programmer/thermostat. All been plain sailing for a couple of years since the Towerstat replaced the old DIP switch module. Lately, the boiler hasn't been responsing to the Tx unit. I thought it was a battery problem, but a fresh set...

ADDING A HOT WATER TANK TO A COMBI

I have a Baxi 80 Eco. I wish it would heat the HW up as well as it does the CH. As was mentioned up above, someone said the cost of all the bits and bobs would prob work out quite expensive. I'm and experienced DIYer and have built many things, including cars, powershowers, and adding...

ADDING A HOT WATER TANK TO A COMBI

Hello, If anyone can advise ont he following, i'd be grateful.... I have a Baxi 80 combi, and it's never really been up to the job of heating the water hot enough for a shower, so my plumber turned down the input flow rate so that the boiler effectively had slightly less to heat up, and...
