To be able to watch TV in other rooms, my aerial is not right for digital TV, so I'm using the dish for freesat for the TV in the bedroom and other rooms.

    quad LNB connections

we, until this year had sky in the lounge, now we have virgin, I have currently jerry rigged the sat feed along the old TV aerial cable for the bedroom, whilst this works, its not ideal, and the signal loss is huge, and it is unwatchable in bad weather.. So, if I put a new cable into the dish...

    Wireless Internet Hubs

depending on how many rooms you need connecting together, my VMhub has 4 gigabit ports on the back, so acts as a switch anyway, if needed you can connect one of these ports to another switch to multiply the connections. I have the original VMhub, and the wireless seems to be less reliable...

50cc Scooter - Loss of power)

2 stroke of 4 stroke? if 4 stroke check the tapet clearences, quite common for these to go out affecting performance, a small engine has less tolerance.

    Current copyright law

not really. You buy a chair, use it as many times as you like, you want the newer style, you cant just have one because you bought the old one. music artist is more like the chair designer, designs one chair, hundreds are sold. I do think the american copyright is a better deal though, you...

    M42 adaptors for canon DSLR

cheers, although I thought you could use them with either full manual or aperture priority (leaving the camera to work the shutter speed out) either way, it will be fine, my last SLR was fully manual, it had just 2 lights for light metering

    What is energy saving?

Finding this hard to believe, if it is true, then why are most "A rated" dryers condensers? unless your second point is taken intoaccound in the energy efficiency test, which again, I find hard to believe.

    Electromagnetic interference through speakers

noisy PSU on the keyboard, quite common in laptops, get an isolating transformer to go inline http://tinyurl.com/5tw3ygh Would be fine (obviously you would need 2 for a stereo feed) or an active DI box MIGHT work (luck of the draw) if you go to the blue room forum (theatre based) and...

South facing roof free solar pv?

I've been looking at this, and so far its this that has put me off, no estate agents know weather this would be a problem, as they have not come across it (yet) and the companies seem reluctant to give an answer too.

    consumer unit replacement

is it really that inaccessible? mine certainly doesn't meet the requirements on height, but it isn't dangerous where it is, it just means you need to reach up (its above a "normal height" window) We had it changed when we moved in, after similar comments to yours, but out mortgage co then...

Pipe and frost stat, do I still need them?

cheers, have just discovered that the pipe and frost stats were wired in series , is that normal? seems daft to me, as both the pipe and frost would have to kick in for the boiler to operate.

Pipe and frost stat, do I still need them?

Its a Baxi Duo-Tec 24HE. There may/may not be room for the pipestat in the wall in its present position, might be able to move things around, ill have a look. The CH programmer does have a frost stat built into it (wireless remote one) so there is some protection (if you trust wireless)

Pipe and frost stat, do I still need them?

My CH system is 3 years old, when installed it was installed in an unheated outhouse, hence (presumably) the pipe and frost stat in there with it. I have now remodeled the kitchen, removing the partition wall between the outhouse and kitchen to give a bigger kitchen. now that the boiler is...
