Question on ER (Area FX) for Pyronix

Originally I had set C to my shed. And if I set A+B+C to arm, it kept saying to exit via exit route (shed), despite opening and closing the front door, though setting to A only over came this. I've now included the shed into B for simplicity.

Question on ER (Area FX) for Pyronix

Ah! I have now set A+B and now it works. I thought setting A only was Full Set (which all detectors are members of) overrides B (which include all downstairs detectors).

Question on ER (Area FX) for Pyronix

Yes, A = Full Set (all rooms). Only A is selected and lit for arming. Keyfob or keypad, does the same thing. So can this be changed with the right settings or is this how it is?

Question on ER (Area FX) for Pyronix

Hi, Quick question: I have a front door contact set to Final Exit, and a lounge PIR set to ER (Area FX) as a route to the panel. If I open the front door the entry timer starts, and the lounge PIR detects my movement but does not trigger an alarm as expected. If the lounge PIR is triggered...

485 Bus error when wiring Pyronix PCX LCDP keypad to Enforcer

Spoke too soon! The keypad works fine, but if I go into the keypad's Security Menu (holding D), whenever I exit by pressing A, I get "485 Fail Kpd" and the internal alarm sounds with the yellow triangle. Same as if I do this on the panel's keypad. The panel's keypad is set to [0] and the extra...

485 Bus error when wiring Pyronix PCX LCDP keypad to Enforcer

When I...

Pyronix Enforcer - bell not sounding during Test Siren?

I got it working last night, haven't had the chance to post my feedback as it was late. I have removed the eng hold wire and now the tamper works. I thought this could be left in permanently but it seems this mess to be wired in prior to the lid removal. With regards to the -0v, where would...

Pyronix Enforcer - bell not sounding during Test Siren?

I have made some progress and the alarm now sounds under the Test Siren option. All I changed was adding a 2K2 resistor from one of the tamper connections on the bell to panel's -0v. The wiring is now like this: Backlight Disable >>>> not used T >>>> D1- (RS485 -0v) with 2K2 resistor in series...

Pyronix Enforcer - bell not sounding during Test Siren?

Hi, I have the latest Pyronix Enforcer Homecontrol+ App v2.1 panel, and just received the Deltabell Plus sounder. I have wired it up but it needs confirming if correct, but both the backlight and strobe lights flash, but when doing a siren test under Engineer Tests menu, the strobe and...

Pyronix Enforcer - cannot get "Confirm Group" to work

It's set to double knock already. I had an idea that it was supposed to be for that, but I thought I would get the answer straight away.

Pyronix Enforcer - cannot get "Confirm Group" to work

As the manual suggests (pointed out earlier), it's "useful when two or more shock sensors are being activated by the same event". However, I'd like to use the shock AND pir in my situation, as I don't have two shock sensors in the same area. The shock will be on the window (perimeter) and the...

Pyronix Enforcer - cannot get "Confirm Group" to work

Why wouldn't you go down this route, is there a flaw in this setup? What are the other options with my panel?

Pyronix Enforcer - cannot get "Confirm Group" to work

BTW I have V2.1, the latest. Apologies if you already know this, but under Input Attributes, the option Confirm Group is what I am referring to: "If inputs are selected into the same confirm group, each input will only generate an unconfirmed alarm (and will not generate a confirmed activation)...
