    Hi So I rent out my spare room on AirBNB and share my bathroom with a guest. He sometimes likes to turn the Mira Mixer shower up and it tends to spray the whole bathroom. Is their a way I can change the shower head to reduce the flow so this can't happen? Cheers

    So I have now the lamp holder which is double insulated. I have turned off the downstairs lights at my fuze box and confirmed all downstairs lights are off. However, when I use a mains tester pen it is showing as 12V still? why might this be?

    Thanks for all your help so far guys, I a bit thick when it comes to electrics! So I also managed to damage the earth cable running into the back of the bulb holder. I managed to crimp an adaptor onto the end of it but the cable is far too short to be safe. What would be a suitable earth cable...

    Thanks, good advice yes I want to sell the old ones as they are far too bright and the dimmer switch makes a buzzing sound. I have been told with Hue lightning you can dim them and you can turn off individual lights.

    Thanks for the reply yes I do realize it means replacing the whole units. One reason I want to replace them is they are far too bright for my lounge. Even when dimmed to the lowest setting. They are more suitable for a bathroom or a kitchen. I would have preferred a yellow glow not a sharp...
